Expert Agreement
Last updated: January 2026
1.Agreement to Expert Terms
This Expert Agreement governs the relationship between experts who offer services on Meetmy and Meetmy Inc. By creating an expert account and offering services on Meetmy, you agree to these terms.
This Expert Agreement is in addition to our Terms of Service, which apply to all users of the platform. You must agree to both the Terms of Service and this Expert Agreement to offer services on Meetmy.
This Expert Agreement (referred to as "Agreement") governs the relationship between you (a service provider offering tutoring or educational services, referred to in these terms as "Expert") and Meetmy Inc. (referred to in these terms as "Meetmy").
If you have questions about this Agreement, contact us at [email protected].
2.Independent Contractor Relationship
Your Status: You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of Meetmy. You have complete control over how you provide your services, including setting your own prices, availability, and policies for your clients.
How Meetmy Works: Meetmy provides technology infrastructure that enables you to:
- Create a professional booking page to showcase your services
- Set your own session prices and package offerings
- Manage your availability and schedule
- Process payments securely through our payment partners
- Define your own terms of service for your clients
What Meetmy Provides: Meetmy provides the platform, payment processing, scheduling technology, and administrative tools. We do not direct or control how you deliver your services to clients.
What You Control: You determine your pricing, session structure, cancellation policies, refund policies, and how you interact with your clients. These are your terms with your clients, not Meetmy's terms.
No Employment Relationship: Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship. You are not entitled to employment benefits, and you are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and business expenses.
3.Platform Fees & Payouts
Fee Structure: Meetmy deducts the following fees from your client payments:
- 5% service fee - Platform operation and maintenance
- 4% transaction fee - Payment processing costs (via Stripe)
- Total: 9% deducted from each booking
There are no monthly subscriptions, setup fees, or hidden costs. You only pay fees when you earn revenue through the platform.
Fee Calculation: Fees are calculated on the session price (the amount your client pays for the session before platform fees). For example:
- Client pays $100 for a session
- 5% service fee: $5.00
- 4% transaction fee: $4.00
- Total platform fees: $9.00
- Your earnings: $91.00
How Payouts Work: Your earnings (client payment minus platform fees) are deposited into your Meetmy account after each completed session. You can withdraw funds at any time using:
- Stripe (preferred method, subject to 2% withdrawal fee)
- PayPal Payouts (available as alternative payout method)
Payout Timing: Earnings from completed sessions are available for withdrawal immediately after the session ends. Withdrawals are processed within 2-5 business days depending on the payout method.
Minimum Payout: The minimum withdrawal amount is $10. If your balance is below this amount, you must wait until you reach the minimum before requesting a payout.
Tax Responsibility: You are solely responsible for determining, collecting, and remitting any applicable taxes on your earnings. Meetmy does not withhold taxes from your payments. You should consult with a tax professional regarding your tax obligations.
Fee Changes: We may modify our fee structure with 30 days' advance notice via email. Continuing to use the platform after fee changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new fees.
4.Referral Program
Team Building: You may build a team by referring other experts to the platform. When you refer a client to a team member, you earn a 20% commission on all bookings that client makes with that team member.
Commission Calculation: Referral commissions are calculated based on the team member's earnings (after platform fees are deducted). For example:
- Client pays your team member $100
- Platform fees (9%): $9.00
- Team member's net earnings: $91.00
- Your referral commission (20% of $91): $18.20
Commission Payment: Referral commissions are paid out monthly. You must have a minimum balance of $10 to receive a commission payout.
Program Changes: Meetmy reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program with 30 days' notice. Existing referral relationships will be honored according to the terms in place when the relationship was established.
5.Expert Content & Intellectual Property
Ownership: You retain full ownership of all content you create and upload to Meetmy, including profile videos, session descriptions, educational materials, course content, and any other materials.
