1.Agreement to Terms of Service
For Clients: These Terms of Service govern the relationship between clients who book sessions and Maria. For information about the Meetmy platform itself, please see our Platform Terms of Service.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between you (a client booking educational services) and Maria ("Service Provider", "Tutor").
By booking a session with Maria, you agree to these Terms. Maria is an independent service provider using the Meetmy platform. These terms are set by Maria, not by Meetmy Inc.

2.About These Sessions
What You're Booking: You are booking one-on-one educational sessions with Maria. Sessions may include tutoring, coaching, consulting, or other educational services as described on Maria's profile.
Session Format: Sessions are conducted via video call using Google Meet. You will receive a meeting link for each scheduled session.
Session Duration: Session length is as specified when you book (typically 30, 60, or 90 minutes). Maria will start and end sessions at the scheduled times.
Scheduling: You can view Maria's available time slots and book sessions that fit your schedule. Once booked, you'll receive confirmation and calendar invitations.
3.Pricing & Payment
Session Rates: Session prices are set by Maria and displayed on their booking page. Prices may vary based on session length and package size.
Package Pricing: Maria may offer package deals where you purchase multiple sessions at a discounted rate. Package details and pricing are shown before purchase.
Platform Fees: Your payment includes:
- Payment to Maria for their services
- 5% Meetmy platform service fee (covers platform operation and support)
- 4% payment processing fee (covers secure payment processing via Stripe)
The total fee of 9% covers all platform and payment processing expenses so that Maria receives their full payment for services rendered.
When You're Charged: Payment is processed immediately when you complete your booking. Your payment method will be charged the full amount at the time of purchase.
Payment Methods: Payments are securely processed through Stripe. Accepted payment methods include credit cards, debit cards, and other methods supported by Stripe.
4.Booking & Scheduling
How to Book: Select your desired session or package from Maria's booking page, choose an available time slot, and complete the payment process.
Booking Confirmation: After booking, you'll receive:
- Email confirmation with session details
- Calendar invitation with Google Meet link
- Access to session details in your Meetmy dashboard
Scheduling Timeframes: All purchased sessions must be scheduled within 90 days from the date of purchase. Sessions not scheduled within this period will expire.
Calendar Integration: Sessions automatically sync with your calendar. The Google Meet link is included in your calendar event.
5.Cancellation Policy
Free Cancellation Window: You may cancel a session free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within this window will return the session to your available balance for rebooking.
Within 24 Hours: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are not permitted. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours will count as used and no refund will be provided. This policy exists because Maria plans their schedule in advance and late cancellations result in lost time slots.
How to Cancel: To cancel a session, go to your booking details in your Meetmy dashboard and select the cancellation option. You'll receive confirmation of the cancellation.
Tutor-Initiated Cancellations: If Maria needs to cancel a session, you will be notified immediately and the session will be returned to your available balance for rebooking. In rare cases of tutor emergency, you may be offered a full refund.
6.Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling Requirements: You may reschedule a session up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Rescheduling less than 24 hours before the session is not possible.
Maximum Reschedules: You can reschedule the same booking a maximum of three times. After three reschedules, you must attend the session or it will be counted as a no-show.
How to Reschedule: Go to your booking details in your Meetmy dashboard and select a new available time slot from Maria's calendar. You'll receive updated confirmation and calendar invitations.
Subject to Availability: Rescheduling is subject to Maria's availability. If you cannot find a suitable alternative time, please contact Maria directly through the platform.
7.Refund Policy
No Refunds: Maria does not offer refunds. All purchases are final. Your payment goes directly to Maria for their professional services.
No Refunds For:
- Sessions cancelled within 24 hours of start time
- No-shows (sessions you did not attend)
- Missed sessions
- Expired packages (sessions not scheduled within 90 days)
- Change of mind after purchase
Refunds May Be Available For:
- Sessions cancelled by Maria
- Technical issues on Maria's end that prevent session delivery
- Other exceptional circumstances at Maria's sole discretion
Refund Process: If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.
Please make sure you are ready to commit to your bookings before purchasing a package.
8.Package Terms
Package Validity: All purchased sessions must be scheduled within 90 days from the date of purchase. This is your scheduling window.
Package Expiration: After 90 days, any sessions that have not been scheduled will expire and cannot be used. No refunds or extensions are provided for expired sessions.
Non-Transferable: Session packages are for your personal use only and cannot be transferred to another person.
Cannot Be Shared: Sessions cannot be shared with others or used by anyone other than the original purchaser.
Track Your Package: You can view your remaining sessions and expiration date in your Meetmy dashboard. Make sure to schedule all your sessions before they expire.
9.No-Show Policy
What Constitutes a No-Show: If you do not join the session within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, it will be considered a no-show.
No-Show Consequences: No-show sessions count as used sessions and cannot be rescheduled or refunded. The session is considered completed and will be deducted from your package balance.
Avoid No-Shows: Please make sure to attend your bookings or reschedule them at least 24 hours in advance. Set calendar reminders to ensure you don't miss sessions.
Technical Issues: If you experience technical difficulties joining the session, contact Maria immediately through the platform messaging. Maria may use discretion in cases of genuine technical problems.
10.Session Conduct
Professional Behavior: You agree to maintain respectful and professional conduct during all sessions with Maria.
Technical Requirements: You are responsible for ensuring you have:
- A stable internet connection
- A device with camera and microphone (if required by Maria)
- Access to the Google Meet video call link
- A quiet environment suitable for learning
Recording Policy: Sessions may not be recorded without explicit consent from both parties. Ask Maria for permission before recording any session.
Session Materials: Any materials provided by Maria during sessions are for your personal educational use only and may not be shared or distributed without permission.
Respectful Communication: Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
11.Disputes & Resolution
Contact Maria First: If you have any concerns about a session, scheduling, or these terms, please contact Maria directly through the Meetmy platform messaging system.
Platform Mediation: If you cannot resolve an issue directly with Maria, you may contact Meetmy support at [email protected] for assistance. Meetmy may help mediate disputes between clients and service providers.
Final Decisions: Maria has final discretion on matters related to session delivery, rescheduling exceptions, and refund requests. Meetmy cannot override Maria's decisions regarding their services.
Good Faith Resolution: Both parties agree to work in good faith to resolve any disputes fairly and professionally.
12.Changes to These Terms
Maria may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Your continued booking of sessions after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If you do not agree to updated terms, you may request a refund for any unused sessions purchased before the changes took effect.
